Every Christian that desires to be used by God has likely come into contact with the term anointing. Those who haven’t heard, seen, or read of this will, should they continue in this wonderful journey. The anointing is something many pray to receive, others desire to receive it in greater quantities and qualities so they could be used by God in greater and more effective ways. In the pursuit of the anointing, many books have been written and read, strange things bordering cultism and even the occult have been done. This is not to forget statements such as the anointing for this and the anointing for that. In all this, some of the questions many zealous saints ask include, what is the anointing? How can I get the real anointing? What can I do to grow in the anointing? In this writing I navigate through the scriptures and a bit of history to share with you several things that God has taught me this far concerning the anointing. One of those most shocking things I have learned and do share will be how you, and I, our choices, and actions, are quite significant in deciding the kind of anointing that God will place on us. While most hungry and zealous believers are convinced that God is the one who decides their anointing, this writing will show you He isn’t.
